Georgia’s presidential primaries are Tuesday along with a special city council election in Oakwood. As usual, polls will be open 7:00-7:00.
The election in Oakwood is being held to fill the city council vacancy left last year by the death of Dwight Wood. The candidates are Volley Collins and Wood’s widow, Rhonda.
Meanwhile, there have been a couple of changes in voting locations, according to the Oakwood website:
OAKWOOD 1: Old Location: Oakwood Community Building, NEW voting location is Oakwood First United Methodist Church – 4315 Allen Street
OAKWOOD 2: Old Location: OGT Worship Center, NEW voting location is West Hall Baptist Church – 5314 McEver Road
