GDOT adding lanes to Ga. 400; preliminary work begins Monday

Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) contractors will temporarily close lanes at the locations identified in the below table to perform preconstruction activities on the Georgia (SR) 400 Express Lanes Project.

Overall, the project will add new express lanes in both directions along a 16-mile section of SR 400 from the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) North Springs Station (Exit 5C) in Fulton County to approximately one mile north of McFarland Parkway (Exit 12) in Forsyth County.
