A Buford Georgia lottery player recently became a millionaire — and made history in the process.
Georgia Lottery officials say the March 4 winning ticket in the Cats Jackpot Diiggi Game was worth $1,161,177.
The “record-breaking” prize is the largest jackpot won on a digital game in Georgia Lottery history, officials said. Diggi Games are played exclusively online and in a mobile app and usually have a rolling jackpot.
To play Cats Jackpot, players must collect a “cluster” of three or more matching symbols to win a prize, according to the lottery’s website. Four or more matching paw symbols get you a guaranteed-win bonus game, and six paw symbols win the progressive jackpot.
