A Frost Advisory is in effect overnight for several northeast Georgia counties for tonight, including some in the immediate Gainesville area.
It’s for Lumpkin, White, Habersham, Lumpkin, Fannin, Union and Towns counties from midnight tonight until 9:00 tomorrow morning.
Last night, there was frost across a wide section of north Georgia, including the metro Atlanta.
After tonight, there should be a gradual warmup for all of Georgia through at least the weekend with temperatures returning to near-normal and the threat of frost diminishing.
