HCSO NEWS RELEASE:
“A Cleveland man faces felony charges of child molestation following an incident at a
location in Lula earlier this year. Joshua Allen Nutting, 38, was arrested Tuesday, August 1,
following an investigation into the reported criminal activity.
Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) investigators determined on May 29, 2023, Nutting and
the victim, a girl under the age of 16, were among a group of people gathered at a residence
in the 8000 block of Belton Bridge Road. While they were there, Nutting showed the victim
pornographic images on his cell phone and also performed an indecent act in her presence.
HCSO investigators also determined Nutting provided a THC vape cartridge to the victim
multiple times on the same date at the same location.
As a result, Nutting was charged with two counts of child molestation and one count of
contributing to the delinquency of a minor.”
