Four injured in 4-vehicle accident on Ga. 365

Four people were injured, none seriously, in a four-vehicle accident on Georgia 365 near White Sulphur Road. State troopers responded to the crash which occurred about 6:00.

Their report says that three of the vehicles were traveling north in the left-turn lane when one slowed because of traffic congestion at the traffic light at 365 and White Sulphur. It was struck from the rear by another which was following too closely, causing a chain-reaction crash.

Three of the injured were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville. The fourth was treated at the scene.

The at-fault driver, a 27-year-old Cornelia woman, was charged with following too closely and not wearing her seatbelt.
