*Forsyth County will offer an open-house, drop-in style public input meeting and an online survey for residents to provide feedback and ask questions about the design of a master plan for the renovation of the Polo Fields Park. Renovations will include improvements to the sport field areas and other enhancements to meet community recreational needs. The public input meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at the Polo Fields HOA Clubhouse (6300 Polo Club Drive). Residents may complete the online survey here through Nov. 5. *The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) has announced that the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) is one of 26 law enforcement agencies in Georgia to receive a Highway Enforcement of Aggressive Traffic (H.E.A.T.) grant. The award totals $136,903.20. The money will be used to develop and implement strategies to reduce local traffic crashes due to aggressive and dangerous driving behaviors, FCSO spokeswoman Stacie Miller said.
