Forsyth County is reporting a 4,000-gallon sewer spill that occurred Sunday in the Saddlebrooke Glen subdivision close to Old Alpharetta Road entering an unnamed tributary of Caney Creek.
FORSYTH CO. NEWS RELEASE:
“The spill was caused by…debris in the system. The Department of Water & Sewer was notified of the spill at 10:45 a.m. and had the issue corrected at 2:40 p.m. Crews removed the debris, cleaned up the surrounding grounds and treated the area with lime.
Informational signs have been posted in the surrounding residential area…”
