A man whose name is synonymous with Gainesville High School baseball has died. Don Brewer died Wednesday, according to family postings on Facebook.
Brewer coached the Red Elephants for seven years in the 1980s. He also coached the Gainesville Post #7 American Legion baseball team.
No announcement had been made at last check about a funeral or memorial service.
