(FROM GA. NEWS NETWORK) – Week One of the college football season is officially here. Top-ranked Georgia squares off against #14 Clemson Saturday afternoon at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Bulldogs went 13-1 last year. Elsewhere, Georgia Tech plays host to Georgia State Saturday night at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The Yellow Jackets are 1-0 following an upset win over 10th-ranked Florida State last weekend. The Panthers enter the new season looking to build off of last year’s 7-6 campaign. *The NCAA Men’s Final Four is returning to the Peach State. The 2031 Final Four will be held in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. 2031’s event will be the fifth time the city has hosted the Men’s Final Four. The last time it was held in the city was 2013. Atlanta was supposed to hold the event in 2020, but it was canceled due to COVID-19.
