Authorities say Isabelle Rose Johnson was captured Thursday not far from where the crime occurred. The arrest happened after weeks of searching across Florida, north Georgia and Alabama. Johnson was wanted in the death of 43‑year‑old Jason Coulthart whose body was found in Jackson County, Florida.
Johnson was taken into custody by members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force along with deputies from Walton County and Jackson County. She was found at a house outside Cottondale.
Her arrest followed leads developed by a cyber‑crimes unit, which helped investigators track her movements during the search.
