First some much-needed rain, now some much cooler temps

Though it wasn’t a drought-buster, many people in Gainesville and other parts of north Georgia awakened to the sound of raindrops Sunday morning. Unofficially, Gainesville picked up less than a tenth of an inch of an inch overnight.

Now comes cool, crisp mornings.

The National Weather Service (NWS) says lows the remainder of the week will be in the 40s in most places with enough wind to push wind chills into the 30s.
