*Fire destroyed a mobile in the 5300 block of Pine Forest Road Monday afternoon. Hall County Fire Rescue (HCFR) got the call about 2:00. It was fully involved when the first units arrived, and the flames had spread to an outbuilding. The property owner was on scene and said the mobile home was vacant. The county fire marshal will try to determine the cause of the fire.
*A 23-year-old man was still in the Hall County Jail without bond Monday afternoon following his arrest on charges that include serious injury by vehicle. Lt. Kevin Holbrook of the Gainesville Police Department says Steven Alexandro Lopez was driving a car that struck a tree on Willow Ridge Circle. Information on the injured passenger were not immediately available Monday. The accident happened last Thursday though details on it and Lopez’s arrest were not released until Monday. Other charges include:
