Commerce Fire responded with Maysville Fire, Harrisburg Fire, Jackson County Correctional Institute Fire and Jackson Co EMS to the Banana Republic Store at 800 Steven B Tanger Blvd on a report of a commercial fire.
Fire units were on scene and quickly made an interior attack to extinguish the fire.
Banana Republic and the adjacent stores were evacuated before fire personnel arrived on scene. Thankfully there were no injuries. All fire and ems crews worked together to successfully limit the fire damage to the store.
The scene was turned over to Tanger Outlet management and all crews returned safely their stations.
