Forsyth County has its fourth confirmed case of rabies this year.
The sheriff’s office said Friday the animal was found in the Adams Road area in the northern part of the county.
“We are encouraging residents to report any animals appearing to be sick in this area by contacting the Animal Services Division,” Forsyth County Animal Services Manager Lauren Kirk said. “We ask residents to come forward if their animals are symptomatic and obtain current rabies vaccinations for your animals.”
The other cases confirmed this year in a raccoon and two cats.
