FLOWERY BRANCH POLICE DEPT. (FBPD) NEWS RELEASE:
“On (Monday), the Flowery Branch Police
Department took custody of Joe Davis, 34, of Lawrenceville, on a warrant
for conspiring to commit identity fraud. The investigation determined that
the suspect was obtaining victims’ information and selling it to others for
financial gain.
The Gwinnett County Police Department established contact with Mr. Davis
near…in Buford. Upon confirming Davis’s
active warrants from the Flowery Branch Police Department, Gwinnett
County Police notified the Flowery Branch Police Department.
Flowery Branch Officers later met with Gwinnett County authorities and
took Mr. Davis into custody. Mr. Davis was subsequently transported to the
Hall County Jail.
Joe Davis was booked into the Hall County Jail for the following charge of
conspiracy committing identity fraud. Additions charges may be
forthcoming.”
Davis was release on $7,900 bond Tuesday night, according to a spokeswoman for the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
