FBPD: Raid nets several illegal drugs, leads to one arrest

FLOWERY BRANCH POLICE DEPT. (FBPD) NEWS RELEASE:

“On June 24, 2025, the Flowery Branch Police Department was contacted regarding suspected
drug activity in the 300 block of Tree Park Circle. Investigators conducted a thorough
investigation, which led to a search warrant being granted and subsequently served at the
residence by the Flowery Branch Police Department.

During the execution of the search warrant, officers located suspected marijuana, suspected
cocaine, suspected THC wax, suspected THC oil vapes, suspected psilocybin mushrooms, and
numerous items of drug-related objects inside the residence. The listed tenant was not on scene at
the time of the search.

As a result of the investigation, probable cause was established, and warrants were obtained for
the arrest of Desmond Fagan, 44, of Flowery Branch, on the following charges:

  • Possession of Marijuana (Felony – VGCSA)
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
  • Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance (three counts)
  • Possession of Cocaine (VGCSA)
  • Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute
  • Possession and Use of Drug-Related Objects
    On July 10, 2025, Mr. Fagan was apprehended by the Flowery Branch Police Department during
    a traffic stop in the area of Phil Niekro Boulevard and Thurmon Tanner Parkway.”
