FLOWERY BRANCH POLICE NEWS RELEASE:
“On July 9…Officers with the Flowery Branch Police
Department responded to a report of fraud involving a counterfeit Rolex watch.
After taking the initial report from the victim, the case was immediately assigned to the
department’s Criminal Investigations Division for follow-up.
Through a swift and thorough investigation, investigators were able to develop probable
cause to charge the suspect, identified as Bryan Castaneda, 18, of Gainesville, in
connection with the fraudulent transaction.
As a result of the investigation, Castenada has been charged with the following offenses:
*Two (2) counts of Trademark Violation related to the fraudulent Rolex watches
*Eight (8) counts of Forgery in the 2nd Degree for the possession of counterfeit
Rolex warranty cards”
