FBCC to consider final action on tax rate & budget, allowing microbreweries in CBD

A lengthy agenda for Thursday night’s meeting of the Flowery Branch City Council (FBCC) includes final action on the city’s 2024 tax rate and FY 2024-2025 budget.

In addition, the council will consider allowing microbreweries in the Central Business District (CBD) and authorizing the mayor to sign the Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales
Tax (TSPLOST) Intergovernmental Agreement. Hall County and its cities and towns are planning a referendum on TSPLOST.

Also on the agenda: Consideration of a real estate agreement with Blessing Traders, Inc. for the Purchase of property for the roundabout at Gaines Ferry Road and McEver Road.
