*A man in Whitfield County is recovering from severe burns following an aerosol can explosion. Firefighters were called to an area on Brickyard Road Thursday and learned that the man had been burned in an explosion the previous day but had failed to call for medical help. No other injuries were reported. What triggered the explosion is not known.
*A Fulton County Deputy is facing burglary charges. Officials say Deputy Kenio Mike drove his marked patrol car to his ex-girlfriend’s apartment last week. He took over a dozen perfume bottles, clothes and a Glock handgun and magazine. Mike is currently on administrative leave.
*A fixture on Atlanta TV for nearly 40 years is retiring. David Chandley, Chief Meteorologist at Fox 5 and formerly with WSB plans to step down at a date to be announced in April.
