(GEORGIA NEWS NETWORK) – A series of suspicious mailings to Secretary of State’s offices and election offices across the nation has Federal and State law enforcement agencies investigating. Georgia’s election office and the same in at least 16 other states were all sent suspicious mail.
Georgia, along with Arizona, Connecticut, Maryland, and Maine had their packages intercepted by investigators. Colorado’s election office received a package that contained white powder. The return address was labeled U.S. Traitor Elimination Army.
Kansas and Wyoming evacuated their election offices and the Secretary of State’s office in Missouri had the ventilation system shut down temporarily.
The FBI and the US Postal Inspection service, along with local law enforcement, are investigating.
