Hall County Schools Superintendent Will Schofield intends to recommend Dr. Christy Hastings as
the next Principal of East Hall Middle School (EHMS). The recommendation will be made Monday
at the scheduled county school board meeting.
Dr. Hastings, who has been East Hall Middle School’s Assistant Principal since 2021, will replace Dr. Jamie Hitzges, who is taking a job in another school district at the end of the school year.
She brings 24 years of experience to EHMS, having served as an
elementary and middle school classroom teacher. She has extensive experience at the middle
school level, once serving as an Assistant Administrator in the Forsyth County School System in addition to her current position at EHMS.
