Hall County Fire Rescue responded to a residential fire in the 6200 block of Saddlehorse drive in Flowery Branch, around 7:30 a.m., according a release from Public Information Officer, Kimberly Ledsinger.
Initial responders discovered a fire in a two-story residence on a basement, on the second story above the garage.
An offensive strategy was used and the fire was extinguished quickly.
Hall County Fire Rescue performed a primary and secondary search of the home which was all clear. One person was in the home when the fire occurred but was able to escape.
Assistance from the American Red Cross was rendered to three displaced occupants. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is being investigated by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s office.
