HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE (HCSO) NARRATIVE:

“Just before 11 p.m. Sunday, a sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a location on Wahoo Circle where he found the teenage female victim walking up the street.

The deputy determined the girl had been in a physical altercation with Fields. She suffered minor injuries after she was apparently slapped, punched and then pushed to the ground. Fields was not on scene, but the victim was able to give the deputy an address for Fields as well as a description of the offender and his vehicle.

Another deputy responding to the scene spotted Fields on a moped traveling on Hopewell Church Road. The deputy activated his emergency lights, but Fields refused to stop, continuing to travel to Hubert Stephens Road. The deputy cancelled his pursuit of the moped.

A third deputy on patrol in the area traveled to Fields’ address where he observed a vehicle exit the driveway. He stopped the vehicle and found Fields in the front passenger seat.

Bond has been set at $8,430. Fields has been charged with battery, driving with no brake lights, fleeing or attempting to elude and DUI.
