Pretrial Services, a department falling under the Northeastern Judicial Circuit Court Administration purview, will host a ribbon cutting Friday, July 28 at 10 a.m. to unveil its new location at 1195 Jesse Jewell Pkwy in Gainesville, which will also serve as home to the North Central Alternate Defender Office.
“Pretrial Services has been in dire need of a new location in order to adequately grow,” Hall County Chief Superior Court Judge Kathlene Gosselin said. “This new facility will not only give us room to expand, but it will aid in an invaluable partnership among the Judicial and Executive Branches, as well as the County Government.”
The newly renovated 5,000-square-foot building formerly housed the Georgia Department of Agriculture and was purchased by Hall County in 2022.
Light refreshments will be available to those in attendance at the ribbon cutting ceremony, with an opportunity to tour the facility.
