*The CEO of Atlanta-based Delta Airlines is apologizing to customers for long waits at security. Ed Bastian released a statement this week thanking employees but adding it’s inexcusable TSA workers are not being paid during the partial government shutdown. The airport is asking people to arrive to the airport three or more hours earlier than normal in order to board flights on time.
*One of the biggest toy companies in the country is opening a new distribution center in Georgia. Hasbro held a grand opening yesterday for their new facility in Liberty County. The 600-thousand square foot warehouse will hold the company’s inventory and manage online sales. The company says this warehouse will represent 25-percent of their distributions and will generate around 8 million dollars in productivity savings.
