Decision on S. Hall data center still up in the air

The Hall County Planning Commission (HCPC) has again delayed a decision on plans for a data center in South Hall.

Commissioners voted Monday night to table the matter until their Oct. 6 meeting. A vote had already been tabled once before – on Sept. 2.

A 119-acre site on O’Kelly Road is the place where the one-point-two (B) billion-dollar facility would be located, according to documents on file with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA). The tract of land is at 2400 O’Kelly Road near the Candler Road intersection.
