*Gwinnett prosecutors say they will seek the death penalty for Kevin Andrews, a wheelchair-bound man accused of killing Gwinnett County police Officer Pradeep Tamang and seriously wounding officer David Reed. Despite being shot in the neck, Reed managed to apprehend Andrews.
*Commissioners in Monroe County are waiting to finalize more development rules for data centers. The board discussed some recommendations from the planning and zoning board at a Tuesday meeting, but decided there were too many disagreements to change the ordinance. Residents have shown concern over regulations since the county became a hot spot for these centers in the last couple of years.
*Fliers promoting a White nationalist group have been removed in Cobb County. The propaganda, associated with the Texas-based Patriot Front, was spotted earlier this week near a shopping plaza in the metro Atlanta area of East Cobb. WSB-TV reports the group typically targets areas with significant Black or Jewish populations.
