“The decedent in this case has been identified as Kenneth Stockton (age 42, Dawsonville). Detectives are still actively investigating this case. ORIGINAL RELEASE: (Dacula, Ga., Aug. 31, 2023) – At approximately 11:15 p.m., officers from East Precinct responded to a person shot call on Jona Trail in Dacula.
When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered one deceased male with an apparent gunshot wound. It appears two males had a type of confrontation before the shooting occurred. Detectives are currently interviewing potential witnesses and gathering evidence in hopes of determining what led to the shooting.”
