DAWSON CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE (DCSO) NEWS RELEASE:
“The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Unit recently received active warrants for the arrest of Corey Hardy on charges of Aggravated Assault and Battery, both under the Family Violence Act.
Warrants deputies quickly began working the case and determined that Hardy was in Jackson County.
The DCSO Warrants Unit traveled to Jackson County, where they received outstanding support from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. During the investigation, it was determined that Hardy was on foot, so with the help of the Jackson County SO and the Commerce Police Department K9 Unit, officers successfully tracked Hardy to a wooded area, where he was taken into custody without incident.”
