The City of Cumming has set this year’s schedule for the “Cumming Home” Water Tower at Georgia 400 Exit 14. Click here for the complete 2026 schedule!
Each year, the City accepts requests from charitable organizations, giving them the chance to have the tower lit up in their organization’s colors on special days to bring awareness to their organization. (The application period for 2026 has closed; no additional requests will accepted until the 2027 application period opens in October.)
This year, we will spotlight each month’s causes in this newsletter. This month’s causes, dates and colors are:
- National Law Enforcement Day – Jan. 9th – Blue
- *Thomas Paine Publishes ‘Common Sense’ – Jan. 10th – Red, White & Blue
- Mentor Me North Georgia – Jan. 12th to 16th – Purple & Green
- *Benjamin Franklin’s Birthday & Battle of Cowpens – Jan. 17th – Red, White & Blue
- International Holocaust Remembrance Day – Jan. 27th – Blue & White
- Forsyth Community Clinic – Jan. 30th – Turquoise & Coral
