Our broadcast high school football game of the week will feature a newer, yet prominent rivalry, as North Hall takes on Cherokee Bluff. The Bears come in at 2-0 on the young season, defeating both Lumpkin County and Apalachee in their first two games. North Hall comes in at 1-0, playing only one game during the 2024 season against the Wesleyan Wolves after being given a “non-traditional” first week bye, according to head coach Sean Pender. This will be the seventh time both of these teams have met, with North Hall winning 4 out of the 6 previous games played against the Bluff. We’ll kick off our coverage Friday night with ‘Game Plan – a look at high school football in north Georgia’, where Mike Wofford will talk with coach Sean Pender of North Hall, and coach Tommy Jones of Cherokee Bluff. Our broadcast game coverage will start at 7:05pm with ‘The Longstreet Cafe Pregame Show.’
