Gainesville has had one for years – and now Hall County is getting one.
The county’s Parks & Leisure Services has announced the forming of a Friends of the Park chapter. The announcement was made in a Facebook posting.
“We’re excited to introduce Friends of Hall County Parks — a new way for you to directly support the parks, programs, and outdoor spaces you love,” it says. “Whether it’s building inclusive playgrounds, expanding walking trails, supporting youth sports, or simply creating more places to connect, your donation makes it possible.”
Participants will be able to donate one time or each month and choose how their gift will be used, with every dollar staying in Hall County. “Together we’re building the future of play, wellness, and community.”
