College admission fees waived this month at some Ga. institutions

The Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC) has partnered with various educational institutions, public and private, in the state – including several in the Gainesville area – to offer application fee waivers to high school seniors this month.

Over 60 colleges and universities are participating in the initiative, allowing students to apply to several schools without incurring application fees.

Those in our area include Brenau U., Gwinnett Georgia College, Gwinnett Tech, Lanier Tech, North Georgia Tech, Truett-McConnell U., and the University of North Georgia.

Students can access the application fee waivers through the GEORGIA MATCH direct admissions dashboard and find more information on participating schools and a complete list of them at November Application Fee Waivers | Georgia Student Finance Commission
