Koon Chun (USA), a subsidiary of the Koon Chun Sauce Factory, will invest approximately $70 million to establish a new food manufacturing facility that will serve as the company’s U.S. manufacturing headquarters, creating up to 50 new jobs.
The 41-acre site, located in the Gainesville 85 Business Park, is expected to be operational in 2028. The company will recruit talent for management, production, logistics, quality assurance, and maintenance roles.
Founded in 1928, Koon Chun is a fourth-generation, family-owned sauce manufacturer that entered the U.S. market in the 1930s.

Its proximity to world-class infrastructure, including Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and the Georgia Ports Authority’s new Blue Ridge Connector inland port terminal, makes it an ideal location for our growth.”
