Gainesville Police have filed charges in connection with the domestic-related stabbing that occurred Monday afteernoon outside Hollywood Cinemas.
“Warrants have been obtained on Mark Aaron Curry, 32 of Gainesville, Georgia for felony aggravated assault,” spokesman Kevin Holbrook said in an emailed statement.
Curry allegedly physically assaulted a 31-year-old woman, but the victim was able to fight back using a knife, stabbing Curry until she could seek help.
Lt. Holbrook said late Tuesday afternoon that Curry was still hospitalized.
