*An 18-year-old has been charged with burglary and theft by taking in the 2400 block of Northbanks Cove in Gainesville. The amount of the loss is listed on the sheriff’s office report only as “greater than $1,500.” Silas Jamal Danielson was arrested late Friday night. He is being held without bond.
*The larceny from mail case was reported at that same location at about the same time. But Danielson, as of Sunday morning, had not been charged with it.
*19-year-old Peyton Thomas Shane Townley is also charged with burglary in a separate case. He was arrested early Saturday. He, too, is being held without bond.
*A 43-year-old man is charged with theft by receiving stolen property. Addae Elijah Bahati was arrested Saturday afternoon. Bond has been set at $5,700.
*And Gainesville Police last week opened an investigation in a report of sexual battery.
Any further information on each of these is not likely to be released until local law enforcement administrative offices open Monday following the weekend.
