The reprieve from typical summer heat will continue across north and central Georgia over the next few days as east-northeast winds bring cooler air in from the Mid-Atlantic, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). However, isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will be around this afternoon and evening.
Temperatures through Tuesday should range between one and seven degrees below normal for north and central Georgia.
