The Beyond the Call of Duty Memorial trailer is making a stop at the Habersham county courthouse Wednesday afternoon.
According to a release from the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office, the trailer, which contains 164 pictures of officers who lost their lives in service between 2022-2023, makes a tour of the country every few years.
The trailer tours to ensure that “no law enforcement officer killed in the line of duty is forgotten,” the release stated.
The trailer is currently “off the road” in preparation for it’s “End of Watch Ride to Remember 2025,” which takes place next year. In the meantime, the trailer is being brought to northeast Georgia, allowing more of the public view it.
The memorial will be displayed between 1 and 3 p. m. Wednesday at the Habersham County Courthouse, located at 295 Llewellyn Street in Clarksville. Individuals can pay respects and see the trailer free of charge.
