In WGTJ’s broadcast “Game of the Week”, the Cherokee Bluff Bears defeated the West Hall Spartans by a score of 49-14, in region 8-AAA play.
The Bears never trailed throughout the game; scoring four touchdowns in the first half, a field goal in the second and fourth quarters, and a touchdown in the fourth quarter, for a total of 41 points. Meanwhile, the Spartans scored a touchdown in the third with a two point conversion, and a touchdown in the fourth, for a total of 14 points.
Cherokee Bluff heads back home next week to take on the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes, while West Hall heads to Watkinsville to take on the Oconee County Warriors.
