A Banks County man has been arrested in White County and is facing eight charges including trafficking in meth.
White County sheriff’s deputies stopped a pickup driven by Quasim Scott, 47, Homer Wednesday in the Skitts Mountain Road/Campground Road area. A sheriff’s office K9 “alerted” on the truck, indicating the presence of drugs.
The officers say they found a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine in the vehicle, as well as “a large quantity of methamphetamine along with a quantity of cocaine.”
Scott is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, and several other drug law violations.
