A traffic accident near Oakwood early Saturday left at 3,600 Jackson EMC (JEMC) customers without power for a time. And as late as 8:30 a.m., 21 were still in the dark.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) says the outage occurred because of a traffic accident on Old Flowery Branch Road between Mountain View and Mabry roads. Complete details were not immediately available, but a sheriff’s office traffic alert said a power pole had been hit.
