A 20-year-old Gainesville man has been arrested in connection with a fatal accident that happened April 1 on Atlanta Highway.
The state patrol said Tuesday Rodolfo Bedolla-Sifuentes has been charged with:
*HOMICIDE BY VEHICLE IN 1ST DEGREE (FELONY)
*RACING ON HIGHWAY OR STREETS
*LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT
*DRIVING WHILE UNLICENSED OR WITH AN EXPIRED LICENSE
The state patrol report says Bedolla-Sifuentes was traveling south on Atlanta Highway when he was involved in a three-vehicle crash that left Feliciano Burciaga Rios, 59, Gainesville, dead.
Bedolla-Sifuentes then left the scene, the report says, but his car was found in an Atlanta Highway parking lot.
He was arrested Monday and is being held in the Hall County Jail on bonds totaling $5,960. However, no bond has been set on the Homicide by Vehicle charge.
Details surrounding his arrest were not immediately available.
