Colleges and universities in the Gainesville area are readying for the fall semester.
In fact, classes are beginning Monday at two of them: Lanier Technical College and Truett-McConnell University, while classroom doors swing open Wednesday at Piedmont University.
Next Monday is when classes will start for the other three: Brenau University, the University of North Georgia, and North Georgia Technical College.
Speaking of Brenau, move-in day always brings lots of foot and vehicular traffic around the campus – and that’s happening this year on Wednesday.
