A teacher at Apalachee High School has been suspended for allegedly threatening a student during class. It happened Wednesday, according to the school’s principal, Jessica Rehberg.
“Today, a student reported to our school administrators that a teacher made a threat toward a student during class,” Rehberg wrote in a message to parents.
Rehberg wrote that the teacher “has been relieved of all duties, and the matter has been referred to the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office for investigation.”
It was just a month ago that the school observed the one-year anniversary of a mass shooting at the school that left two teachers and two students dead, and several others wounded.
