As the one-year mark approaches of the Apalachee High School shooting that claimed the lives of two teachers and two students, the September 8 trial for the suspected shooter’s father has been postponed, meaning some Hall County folks won’t be in court in Barrow County in a couple of months after all.
Judge Nicholas Primm approved the delay this week, with a new trial date still to be determined. Judge Primm ruled several months ago, in granting a change of venue, that the trial will be held in Winder with the jury coming from Hall County.
54-year-old Colin Gray and his 14-year-old son Colt Gray have pleaded not guilty… Colin to furnishing his son with a gun and Colt with the murders. The shooting occurred last Sept. 14.
