(GA. NEWS NETWORK) – Lawyers for Colt Gray, the alleged gunman in the Apalachee school shooting, are seeking his records from the Department of Family and Children Services f(DFCS) following the incident that claimed the lives of four people.
Gray’s attorneys argue that these records contain relevant evidence crucial to the case and are willing to waive confidentiality to obtain them.
Gray, who faces four counts of felony murder, will not face the death penalty due to his status as a minor, but could potentially receive a life sentence.
The case against Gray and his father, who provided him with the gun used in the shooting, will be presented before a grand jury in October.
