For the second time this week, there has been a report of an incident of road rage on I-985.
HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE (HCSO) NARRATIVE:
“On Wednesday morning…a deputy placed a call to a man at the man’s request in reference to an alleged road rage incident on Interstate 985.
According to the complaint, the man was driving north in the left lane of the interstate near mile marker 14 when a black Ford F150 attempted to pass him. The complainant allegedly stopped his vehicle to allow the truck to merge in front of him, and the pickup truck driver made obscene hand gestures. The complainant reportedly moved to the right lane, and the truck driver allegedly pointed a handgun at him. The truck driver allegedly pointed the gun at the complainant a second time before exiting the interstate at Exit 16.
The incident allegedly happened at approximately 9:20… The complainant continued north on the interstate and declined to meet with deputies. He did not want to pursue charges. A report was taken by the responding deputy.”
