Animal Cruelty, Arson, Credit Card Fraud & more

*A 74-year-old woman was being held in the Hall County Jail Sunday morning on bonds totaling $6,360 following her arrest on animal cruelty and other charges. She was booked on two counts of animal cruelty, two counts of disorderly conduct, and one count of operating a vehicle with an expired tag. Other information on the case is not likely to be available until Monday morning when local law enforcement administrative offices reopen following the weekend.

*Meanwhile, Gainesville Police last week opened investigations into two reported cases of porch piracy – one on Davis Street and the other on Eagle Eye Road; arson on Queen City Parkway at Palmour Drive; burglary on Millstone Park Lane; false report of a crime; and several instances of credit card fraud.
