Another of three fugitives in the recent sex sting by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is now in custody.
“Welborn is one of the two guys who had warrants for Operation Good Shepherd,” spokeswoman B.J. Williams said Wednesday morning. “He was picked up at the Hart County Jail yesterday and returned to Hall County to face charges.”
Kevin Frank Wellborn is the second of the suspects in the case to be taken into custody within the past week. Brandon McDaniel-Waddell, 29, Winder, turned himself in Feb. 28. Still at large is Richard Gearin Hall, 38, Monroe.
Operation Good Shepherd took place over the weekend of Feb. 26 and involved allegations of prostitution, pandering, and sexual exploitation of a minor. Twenty-one suspects were originally identified.
